Rangers
After rolling over Dundee United 4-1 in their last league match, Rangers will be looking to cement top position in the Premiership standings when they take on Livingston at Tony Macaroni Arena. Steven Gerrard’s troops edged closer to the title triumph, but they can’t afford any complacency in the remainder of the season. The Gers aim to retain top position in the standings, and seeing that Livingston suffered a dip in form, away win should be considered.
Midfielder Ryan Jack, who suffered an injury in the triumph over Dundee United, is unlikely to feature against Livingston. The Lions are on a three-game winless run in the national championship, and seeing that they have been struggling at the back of late, we are tempted to put our money on the league leaders. The good news for the hosts is that Jack Fitzwater returns from suspension.
Highlighted Player (Craig Sibbald):
Craig Sibbald is a Scottish footballer who plays for Livingston as a midfielder. Sibbald started his senior career at Falkirk, and after scoring 30 goals in 214 appearances for the Bairns, he signed a two-year contract with Livingston in the summer of 2018.
Craig Sibbald made his Scotland Premier League debut on September 30, 2018, in a 1-0 loss to Rangers. Four months later, he scored his first goal in the Scottish top flight, finding the net in a 3-1 win over St Mirren. Craig Sibbald has three caps with the Scotland U16 team while making two appearances for the Scotland U17 side. He wears the number 10 shirt at Livingston, and his preferred foot is left.
Sibbald’s main position is attacking midfield, but he is used as a left winger as well. The Scottish footballer has a contract with Livingston until July 1, 2018. In August 2011, he was named the Scottish Football League Young Player of the Month.

Glasgow Rangers are one of the two synonyms for Scottish Football. Glasgow Rangers were founded back in 1872 and they have been playing an important role in the Scottish top flight ever since. The Gers won their 54th Scottish Premier League title in the 2010/2011 season, but winning of European Cup Winners’ Cup trophy in 1972 is considered the club’s biggest success.
Glasgow Rangers defeated Dynamo Moscow in the final of the competition, with the likes of Stein and Johnston (two goals) scoring for the Scottish side. Celtic are considered the club’s biggest rivals and there have always been fireworks when the two teams meet in the Old Firm derby. The likes of Paul Gascoigne, David Weir, Stefan Klos, Chris Boyd, Ian Durrant and Kenny Miller are some of Rangers’ former notable players.
It has to be noted that the Gers welcome their rivals at Ibrox Stadium, the venue with the capacity of 50,817. Rangers’ support is largely drawn from the Protestant Unionist community.
