Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Granada and Las Palmas face each other at Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes in the opening match of Saturday’s program. Los Granadinos have been impressive at home ground this season, with the team eyeing their 15th home triumph of the process, and a win over Las Palmas will see them climb to the automatic promotion berth. Experienced forward Jose Callejon is pushing for a start after coming off the bench in a 1-0 loss to Zaragoza, while Jorge Molina and Raul Torrente remain in the recovery room.
La Union Deportiva, on the other hand, aim to recover from a 1-0 loss to Real Oviedo. Since Las Palmas will go for a victory as well, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. Marvin is pushing for a recall to the starting XI, while there are no fresh injury worries in the visiting team.
Highlighted Player (Enzo Loiodice):
Enzo Loiodice, who was born in Paris, France on the 27th of November, 2000, started playing football at the age of eight with SC Paris. His journey as a youth player continued at FC Gobelins before completing at Dijon, where he is now a first-team player on a contract that ends in 2012.
On the 28th of April, 2018, Loidice made his professional debut, featuring in Dijon's 3-1 away loss to Bordeaux in League one. The 19-year-old midfielder, who is known for his ball retention ability and vision, represents his country at the youth level.
He made his under-20 team debut in an international friendly against Argentina U20 on the 20th of March, 2019, and has so far capped six times for his country at that level. His main position is central midfield, but he is capable of producing fine performances as a defensive midfielder as well. His preferred foot is right.
Highlighted Team (Granada):
Granada are an Andalusian football club that plays in Spanish La Liga. The club were founded on 14 April, 1931 and they have yet to win the Primera Division trophy. El Grana, though, booked their place in the Spanish Cup final in 1959, but Barcelona proved to be a big catch for the Andalusian outfit.
Granada host their rivals at Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes, the stadium that was built in 1995. The capacity of the stadium is 23,934. Granada’s main rivals are fellow Andalusian team Sevilla, but Real Betis are regarded as the club’s bitter rivals as well.
The likes of Yacine Brahimi, Juan Aguero, Gustavo Benitez, Pahinho, Denis Milar, Julio Montero Castillo, Capi, Cesar and Jose Mingorance are famous players that were part of the Estadio El Sadar outfit in the past. The original colour of Granada’s kits were blue and white, but after the Spanish Civil War the club chiefs bought new ones (red and white).
