Lugo will be looking to put an end to their five-game losing run in Segunda Division when they take on Ponferradina on Matchday 36. Curro Sanchez did not hesitate at all, signing a contract with the famous La Liga side. To make things even better for the Andalusian, he made his senior debut with Sevilla in La liga on May 4, 2016 in a 1-1 draw with Deportivo La Coruna. Curro Sanchez then joined Numancia, where he scored 13 goals in 34 appearances in Segunda Division for los Numantinos.
In 2020 he signed a deal with La Liga 2 side Ponferradina. Sanchez made his la Ponfe debut in a 2-0 win over Albacete on September 20, 2020. Even though right winger is his primary position, Curro Sanchez is capable of producing fine performances as an attacking midfielder as well.
