Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Lugo will be looking to put an end to their five-game losing run in Segunda Division when they take on Ponferradina on Matchday 36. Lugo have been slipping down the standings week by week, and, as a result, their La Liga 2 status is in great danger. Luis Cesar Sampedro’s troops are desperate to escape the relegation zone, but seeing that they head into Saturday’s match with the lack of confidence, away win should not be considered.
Experienced attacker Cristian Herrera, who found the net in the 3-1 loss to Alcorcon, is pushing for a start. Ponferradina, on the other hand, aim to keep their playoffs hopes alive, and we predict that they will take advantage of Lugo’s poor form. Oscar Sielva should be recalled to La Ponfe’s starting XI after scoring the equalizer in a 1-1 draw with Leganes on Monday.

Curro Sanchez then joined Numancia, where he scored 13 goals in 34 appearances in Segunda Division for los Numantinos.
