Our prediction for this Serie B match:
Following back-to-back draws with Cittadella and Catanzaro, Carrarese will look to return to winning ways in the Serie B when they take on Sampdoria on Friday afternoon. The Giallazzurri are only three points clear of the relegation zone, meaning that they are desperate to grab something from the Sampdoria clash. Even though there are no fresh injury worries in the home team, forward Stiven Shpendi should be recalled to the starting XI after scoring as a substitute in a 2-2 draw with Catanzaro.
La Samp, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Cittadella. The famous Italian outfit are fighting tooth and nail to secure the top flight survival, but given their ups and downs on the road, we are tempted to put our money on the draw this time out. There’s a positive update for La Samp as Bartosz Bereszynski returns to the squad following his suspension.
