Our prediction for this Serie B match:
All eyes will be on Stadio Nicola Ceravolo when Catanzaro and Sampdoria face each other in the Serie B round 38. Catanzaro aim to recover from a 1-0 loss to Ternana and they are likely to fight tooth and nail against Sampdoria. As Vincenzo Vivarini’s troops have already secured 5th place in the standings, home win should not be considered. Both Stoppa and Donnarumma are pushing for a start, while midfielder Jacopo Petriccione misses out through suspension.
La Samp, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Lecco and Reggiana. As Andrea Pirlo’s men are eyeing a top-six finish, we are tempted to place our bets on the visiting team. Barring any fresh injury worries, the Italian football legend is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated Reggiana at the weekend. Pirlo should stick to the 3-4-2-1 formation.
