Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Empoli and Udinese face each other at Stadio Carlo Castellani in the opening match of the Serie A round 8. The Azzurri aim to recover from a 3-0 loss to Bologna and a win over Udinese could see them escape the relegation zone. All Daniel Maldini, Elia Caprile, Bartosz Bereszynski, and Giuseppe Pezzella are sidelined with injuries, while defender Liberato Cacace is a major doubt and he will be assessed ahead of the kick-off.
The Zebrette, on the other hand, are desperate to record their first triumph of the season. Considering that both sides will go for a win in Friday’s clash, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. Sandri Lovric is banned for the match, while all Enzo Ebosse, Brenner, Adam Masina, Gerard Deulofeu, and Kingsley Ehizibue miss out with injuries. Talented midfielder Lazar Samardzic should be recalled to the starting XI following his fine performance in the 2-2 draw with Genoa.
