Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Genoa welcome Salernitana to their Stadio Luigi Ferraris in the opening match of the Serie A round 10. The Rossoblu made a promising start to the season, but they continue with their old habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels. Junior Messias continues to miss out with a muscle injury, while fellow forward Mateo Retegui is a major doubt and he will be assessed ahead of the kick-off.
I Granata, on the other hand, do not seem to be at their sharpest, with the team collecting only one point in total from the last four league matches. As Salernitana have been struggling at the back of late, we are tempted to put our money on Genoa, who have turned “Luigi Ferraris” into a real fortress. There are no fresh injury concerns in the visiting team ahead of Friday’s showdown.
