Wolfsburg
Union Berlin and Wolfsburg face each other at Stadion An der Alten Forsterei in what is expected to be one of the most entertaining games of Saturday’s program. The capital club aim to build on back-to-back wins over Arminia Bielefeld and Mainz, but Wolfsburg will pose a much bigger threat for the hosts than their previous rivals. Both Pawel Wszolek and Timo Baumgartl are out of contention with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team.
The Wolves, on the other hand, want to retain their spot in top five, but given their poor displays in back-to-back losses to Hoffenheim (1-3) and Borussia M’gladbach (1-3), we believe that there is a big value in betting on the hosts. Maxence Lacroix serves a one-game ban, while all Kevin Mbabu, Yannick Gerhardt, Admir Mehmedi, Xaver Schlager, William, and Bartosz Bialek miss out with injuries for the visiting team, which is yet another reason why home win should be considered.

Marvin Friedrich is a product of FSC Guxhagen football school. The German footballer played for the likes of OSC Vellmar, Paderborn and Schalke during his youth career as well before making his senior debut with die Knappen.
Marvin Friedrich scored 4 goals in 30 appearances for Schalke B before he started playing for the senior team. The German defender made his Bundesliga debut on September 13, 2014 in a 4-1 loss to Borussia M’gladbach. Nowadays Friedrich plays for Union Berlin as he signed a permanent deal with the Bundesliga side on July 5, 2019. His main position is centre-back, but he is capable of producing fine performances as both left and right back as well.
Friedrich’s contract with Union Berlin expires on June 30, 2022. The versatile defender has yet to make his debut with the Germany senior team, but he has four caps with Germany U20 and three with Germany U19 respectively.

It is well known that German car manufacturer Volkswagen are the club’s main sponsors. Wolfsburg won the Bundesliga trophy in 2009 and the likes of Edin Dzeko, Grafite and Zvjezdan Misimovic were part of the club’s golden generation.
You should bear in mind that Grafite and Dzeko scored 54 goals between each other in the 2008/2009 Bundesliga campaign and that the team clinched the trophy thanks to a 5-1 win over Werder Bremen on 23 May, 2009.
