Our prediction for this Champions League match:
David faces Goliath at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu as Real Madrid and Salzburg go head to head in the Champions League round 7. Los Blancos have collected only nine points in the process from possible 18, meaning that this has to go down as a must-win game for the Spanish giants. Influential winger Vinicius Junior is back from the La Liga ban, while all Eduardo Camavinga, Dani Carvajal, and Eder Militao remain in the recovery room. Right-back Lucas Vazquez is banned for the match, whereas Wednesday’s clash comes too early for France international Aurelien Tchouameni.
The Red Bulls, on the other hand, missed out on a spot in the Champions League knockout stages and given Real Madrid’s need for points, we predict that the visitors will return to Austria empty-handed. All Konate, Tijani, and Kjaergaard are out of contention with injuries for the visiting team. The two teams meet for the first time in the elite competition.
Highlighted Player (Luka Modric):

Luka Modric is regarded as one of the best central midfielders in world football. The Croatian ace is a product of Dinamo Zagreb’s youth school and it has to be noted that he played 94 league games for the Modri between 2003 and 2008. In 2008 he signed a six-year deal with Tottenham Hotspur for a fee of £16.5 million.
Luka made his Tottenham debut on 16 August, 2008 in a 2-1 loss to Middlesbrough at Riverside Stadium. The Croatian star scored only 13 goals in 127 league appearances for the Spurs, but he is well known for his brilliant passing. In 2012 he signed for Real Madrid for a fee of £30 million and he made his debut against Barcelona in the 2012 Spanish Super Cup, return leg.
Modric quickly established himself as a first-team regular and, no doubt, he helped the capital club win two Champions League trophies (2013/2014, 2015/2016). You should bear in mind that he was named Croatian Footballer of the Year in 2007, 2008, 2011 and 2014.
Highlighted Team (Salzburg):

Salzburg are a professional football club that compete in Austrian Bundesliga. The club’s main sponsors are Red Bull and, as a result, they are well known under the name of the Red Bulls. The club was founded on 13 September, 1933 and they won their first Austrian Bundesliga trophy in 1994.
Salzburg quickly established themselves as the dominant force in the national championship and they are the most successful Austrian club in the 21st century. It has to be noted that they won their tenth Austrian Premier League trophy in 2016, finishing the season nine points clear of second-placed Rapid Wien.
The Red Bulls welcome their rivals at Red Bull Arena, the stadium that was opened on 8 March, 2008. The capacity of the venue is 31 895. Salzburg participated in the 1993/1994 UEFA Cup final, but Italian side proved to be a big catch for the Austrian outfit. Inter recorded a 2-0 win over Salzburg in the final (on aggregate).
