There will be fireworks when Arsenal and Liverpool square off against each other at Emirates Stadium in the FA Cup round 3 derby. The Gunners suffered a dip in form, with the team losing to both West Ham and Fulham in the last two league matches and they must be low on spirits ahead of the visit of Liverpool. Mohamed Elneny represents Egypt at the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations, while all Oleksandr Zinchenko, Fabio Vieira, and Jurrien Timber remain on the sidelines with injuries. Gabriel Jesus is widely expected to return to the starting XI after coming as a substitute in a 2-1 loss to Fulham.
The Reds, on the other hand, produced a brilliant display in a 4-2 win over Newcastle United, but seeing that key attacker Mohamed Salah is on international duty, we are tempted to back Arsenal to win the FA Cup showdown. Wataru Ando is on international duty as well, while all Thiago Alcantara, Andy Robertson, Joel Matip, and Konstantinos Tsimikas miss out with injuries.
