Our prediction for this Ireland Premier Division match:
Dundalk play host to Sligo Rovers at their Oriel Park in what is expected to be an interesting Ireland Premier Division game. The Lilywhites aim to recover from a 1-0 loss to Shelbourne and they are surely capable of making life difficult for Sligo in front of home fans. James Gullan limped off with injury in the last league match, with Cameron Elliott likely to step up.
The Bit O’Red, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 4-1 loss to Waterford. As Sligo Rovers have conceded seven goals in total in the previous three away games on the road, anything but a routine home win would be a big surprise. Wilson Waweru is pushing for a start after scoring a consolation goal against Waterford, while the likes of Conor Reynolds, Simon Power, Nando Pijnaker, and John Mahon remain on the sidelines with injuries.
