Go Ahead Eagles are seen as favourites to win Wednesday’s clash, but they will have to prove their worth on the field. Denmark forward Soren Tenstedt is a major doubt after picking up an injury in a 2-2 draw with Twente, with Belgian Mathis Suray being ready to step up. There are no other fresh injury worries in the home team.
The lower-league side, on the other hand, set up a meeting with Twente by beating ten-man Berendrecht after extra-time, but they will have a mountain to climb in Deventer. Over the years, Paul Simonis' troops have turned their De Adelaarshorst into a real fortress; therefore, anything but a routine home win would be a big shock.
