Charlton Athletic will look to extend their winning run to four games when they take on MK Dons in the League One round 16. The Red Robins have a chance to climb to the playoffs berth, and they are likely to go all guns blazing at the Dons. With no fresh injury worries to report, head coach Ben Garner is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated Shrewsbury at the weekend.
The visitors, on the other hand, are stuck at the bottom with only ten points on their account. The rock-bottom side are now on a five-game losing run in the League One, and given Charlton’s fine form in October, home win should be considered. Northern Ireland international Will Grigg should continue to lead the line for the away team, while talented forward Matthew Dennis is pushing for a recall to the starting XI.

After spending a couple of seasons on loan at the likes of Oxford United, Milton Keynes Dons and Rotherham United, the English footballer signed a two-and-a-half year deal with Charlton Athletic in the winter of 2017. Jake quickly established himself as a first-team regular at the capital club, scoring 5 goals in 43 appearances in the 2017/2018 League One campaign.
However, he was out of contention for most of the 2018/2019 season with a serious knee injury. His main position is central midfielder, but he is capable of playing as both defensive and left midfielder as well.
