Metz
Following a 1-0 loss to Montpellier, Lens will be looking to give fans something to cheer about when they take on Metz at their Stade Bollaert-Delelis on Matchday 11. The Yellow-Reds aim to retain second position in the standings, and the bookies see them as favourites to win Sunday’s clash. Argentina midfielder Facundo Medina returns from suspension, while both Massadio Haidara and Gael Kakuta miss out with injuries.
Les Grenats, on the other hand, suffered yet another dip in form, with the team losing to both Angers and Rennes in the previous two league fixtures. Metz have been struggling at the back of late, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Lens’ party at Stade Bollaert-Delelis. All Lenny Joseph, Sikou Niakate, Boubakar Kouyate, Ibrahima Niane, Thomas Delaine, and Manuel Cabit are sidelined through injuries.

Born in Paris on May 7, 1995, Seko Fofana is a midfielder who plays for Serie A side Udinese. Fofana started his career at the youth teams of Paris FC and in 2010 he moved to Lorient. After spending four years at the club, the French footballer joined Premier League side Manchester City in the 2013/2014 season.
Despite being a Man City player from 2014 to 2016, Seko Fofana did not see any game action in the English top flight with the Citizens as he was immediately sent on loan to Fulham (2014/2015). He played for Bastia on loan in the 2015/2016 season as well and in the summer of 2016 he signed a five-year deal with Italian side Udinese.
You should know that Fofana scored five goals in 22 appearances for the Zebrette in the 2016/2017 Serie A campaign. His contract with the Serie A team should expire on June 30, 2022. Due to his dual citizenship the Udinese footballer is eligible to play for France and Ivory Coast at senior level.

Thanks to amalgamation of two amateur clubs Metz were founded in 1932 and soon they became a professional team. Les Grenats are one of the oldest professional teams in France, but they have yet to win the Ligue 1 trophy. Metz finished the 1997/1998 season in second place in the standings and it has to be noted that they were level on points with champions Lens (worse goal difference).
However, les Grenats won Coupe de France on two occasions (1983/1984, 1987/1988), with the team beating Monaco and Sochaux respectively in the title games. Emmanuel Adebayor is considered one of the most famous players who whore Metz jersey and you should know that the Togolese attacker scored 15 goals in 44 appearances in the league for the club.
Metz play their home games at Stade Saint-Symphorien, the venue which was opened back in September, 1923. Les Grenats wear red shirts and white shorts when playing at home, whilst the colour of their away kits is white.
