Shell Energy Stadium will host Thursday’s MLS game between Houston Dynamo and Minnesota United. The Orange Crush failed to win the previous three league matches, but the bookies still see them as favourites to beat the Loons in front of home fans. Paraguay forward Ivan Franco is pushing for a rare start after scoring as a substitute in a 2-2 draw with Sporting Kansas City, whilst defender Micael is back from suspension. Adalberto Carrasquilla is on international duty with Panama.
Minnesota United, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 4-1 loss to Austin, which is probably the main reason why we are going to bet on the hosts. The visitors will be without Iwe, Jeong, Fragapane, Marques, Lawrence, Lod, and Jiba in the midweek clash. When the two teams met in the US Open Cup earlier this year Houston Dynamo outclassed Minnesota United 4-0.
Highlighted Player (Hector Herrera):
Mexico international Hector Herrera is a 26-year-old midfielder playing for Portugal giants FC Porto. Herrera began his career with Pachuca in 2010 and spent three years at the club before being sold to Porto. During his first season with the Dragons Herrera struggled for playing time, but he went on to cement his place in the starting eleven, becoming one of the most valuable players for the club.
Herrera has since them racked up over 110 performances for the Portugal side, scoring over 20 goals in the process. Full Mexico international since 2012, Hector Herrera represented his country at the 2014 World Cup.
During the summer of 2016 Herrera was heavily linked with a move away from Porto and was reported to have made a personal agreement with Italian side Napoli, but the €25 million asking price proved to be a stumbling block that ended up ruining the deal.

Based in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area, Minnesota United are a professional soccer club that will compete in the Western Conference in the Major League Soccer from 2017. The Loons will make their MLS debut against Portland Timbers on March 4, 2017 and, no doubt, they have big ambitions for the forthcoming season.
Minnesota United are the sixth team to join MLS from a lower division and they will welcome their rivals at TCF Bank Stadium. The capacity of the stadium is 52.525 and it was opened in September, 2009. Bill McGuire is the club’s owner and he is on a quest to turn Minnesota United into a top-table side in the Western Conference.
Adrian Heath will be in charge of the club in the 2017 season and it has to be noted that the English tactician used to train the likes of Manchester City, Everton, Aston Villa and Espanyol in the past. You should know that the club was founded on March 25, 2015.
