A spot in the MLS playoffs semis will be at stake when Los Angeles Galaxy and Minnesota United square off against each other at Dignity Health Sports Park. The hosts rolled over Colorado Rapids 9-1 on aggregate to set up a meeting with Minnesota United, but they surely do not want to stop now. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team, but veteran defender Martin Caceres remains doubtful.
The Loons, on the other hand, defeated Real Salt Lake in the double-header, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry against Los Angeles Galaxy. In their last meeting at Dignity Health Sports Park Los Angeles Galaxy defeated Minnesota United 2-1 and we predict that history is going to repeat itself. Talented forward Kage Romanshyn should be the only absentee in the visiting team. Kelvin Yeboah is widely expected to lead the line for Minnesota.

Wil Trapp is an American footballer who plays for Columbus Crew in MLS as a midfielder. Born in Columbus, Ohio, Trapp played for Akron Zips during his college career and in 2013 he returned to his hometown club Columbus Crew. Over the years the 173-cm tall footballer has established himself as a first-team regular and thanks to his thrilling performances in the Major League Soccer, he earned a place in the USA national team.
Wil Trapp made his USA debut on January 28, 2015 in a 3-2 loss to Chile. The Columbus man did well to wear captain’s armband in a friendly game against Bosnia and Herzegovina in January, 2018. Speaking of his club success, Trapp made it to the Eastern Conference play-offs with Columbus in 2015. His main position is defensive midfielder, but he is used as a centre midfielder as well.
The American footballer graduated from Lincoln High School where he was named the 2010 NSCAA National High School Player of the Year.

Los Angeles Galaxy are probably the most famous American soccer club. The club have been participating in the MLS since 1996 and San Jose Earthquakes are considered their bitterest rivals. A number of top-class players were part of the team in the past, but, no doubt, David Beckham is the club’s most significant star. The former Manchester United star played for LA Galaxy from 2007 to 2012 and he scored 18 goals in 98 appearances in the league for the club.
Fellow England international Steven Gerrard is yet another Premier League ace who joined LA Galaxy. Stevie G signed a $9 million deal with the club in June, 2015. One year before he arrived to Los Angeles, the Galaxy won their fifth MLS Cup, with the team beating New England Revolution (2-1) in the final of the tournament, but winning the CONCACAF Champions League in 2000 is considered the club’s biggest success. The MLS outfit outplayed Olimpia of Honduras in the title game, with Ezra Hendrickson scoring the winning goal ten minutes before the final whistle.
