Elche
Buoyed by a 2-1 win over Osasuna, Valencia will look to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they face Elche at their Estadio de Mestalla on Saturday afternoon. Los Che created a number of clear-cut opportunities in the triumph in Pamplona, and it is no wonder the bookies see them as hot favourites to beat los Franjiverdes. Summer signing Edinson Cavani should keep his place up front alongside Andre Almeida, while both Samu Castillejo and Jaume Domenech remain in the recovery room.
Elche, on the other hand, are stuck at the bottom with only two points in their pocket, and given their poor away record, anything but a routine home win would be a big surprise. Midfielder Fidel has yet to recover from a hamstring problem, whilst forward Lucas Boye is banned for the match following his sending off in a 1-1 draw with Mallorca.

You should have in mind that Cavani scored a brace on his Napoli debut against Elfsborg in the Europa League. The Uruguay forward scored 78 goals in 104 Serie A games for the Partenopei and, as a result, big-spending French club PSG decided to sign him in 2013.
Cavani scored 19 goals for les Parisiens in the 2015/2016 Ligue 1 campaign, but he was in Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s shadow during the season and he started a number of games from the bench. In 2011 the PSG attacker won the Copa America trophy with Uruguay as la Celeste hammered Paraguay 3-0 in the game for the title.
