Our prediction for this Serie A match:
All eyes will be on Stadio San Siro when Milan and Atalanta go head to head in the Serie A derby on Matchday 24. The Rossoneri aim to build on back-to-back wins over Torino and Monza, but Sunday’s game will be anything but a walk in the park for Stefano Pioli’s troops. All Davide Calabria, Ismael Bennacer, and Mike Maignan continue to miss out with injuries, while Olivier Giroud is pushing for a start.
The Orobici, on the other hand, failed to impress in a 2-1 loss to Lecce, and seeing that Milan have been showings signs of improvement of late, we do not believe that the visitors are capable of grabbing something from the match. Both De Roon and Scalvini are back from suspensions, whereas all Duvan Zapata, Hans Hateboer, and Mario Pasalic are out of contention with injuries. In their last encounter at “San Siro” Milan defeated Atalanta 2-0.
