Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi will host Monday’s Serie A game between Verona and Udinese, the two teams who sit in the opposite halves of the table. The Mastini aim to escape the danger zone, but their displays in back-to-back defeats to Lazio (0-2) and Fiorentina (0-2) are not giving fans a reason for optimism. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team, but experienced midfielder Miguel Veloso could sneak into the starting XI.
The Zebrette, on the other hand, have been performing above expectations in the 2022/2023 season, with the team extending their winning run to five games against title-chasing Inter. Since the visitors are high on confidence ahead of the trip to the “City of Love”, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the away side. Defensive duo Adam Masina – Leonardo Buta remains in the recovery room.
Highlighted Player (Daniele Padelli):
Daniele Padelli is a professional footballer who played for the likes of Lecco and Como during his youth career. During his spell with Como, he caught the eye of Sampdoria scouts and went on to join the Serie A outfit in 2004. However, he did not see any game action during his spell at Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
After spending several seasons on loan at Pizzighettone, Crotone, Liverpool, Pisa, Avellino and Bari he joined Udinese on 31 August, 2011. The Italian goalkeeper signed a loan deal with the Zebrette and he signed a permanent contract with the club on 27 August, 2012. However, it has to be noted that the 193-cm-tall shoot-stopper played no more than nine league games for Udinese between 2011 and 2013.
On 29 May, 2013 he joined Torino on a free transfer and he has been playing for Juve’s local rivals ever since. Padelli made 35 appearances for Torino in the 2015/2016 Serie A campaign and he conceded 50 goals in the process, while keeping six clean sheets.

The best performance of Udinese was in the season 1954/1955 where the club from Udine managed to end second on the table.
The only prizes that Udinese won are the Serie B title, Serie C title and the UEFA Intertoto Cup. Currently Udinese is playing their games in the Stadio Friuli. The most known nicknames for the club are Bianconeri and Zebrette.
