Our prediction for this Serie B match:
Following a goalless draw with Frosinone, Pisa will be aiming to return to winning ways in the Serie B when they take on Catanzaro on Matchday 11. Pisa have been in a fine form of late, beating both Cesena and Sudtirol before the Frosinone clash and it is no wonder the bookies see them as favourites to win Wednesday’s clash. There are no fresh injury concerns in the home team, but both Mehdi Leris and Tomas Esteves are major doubts.
Fabio Caserta’s troops, on the other hand, aim to build on a thrilling 3-0 win over Sudtirol. Catanzaro, though, are not regarded as good travellers and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Pisa’s party at Arena Garibaldi. You should bear in mind, though, that Pisa have not defeated Catanzaro in a competitive match since October 2012 when the two teams faced each other in Lega Pro C1. Speaking of the away team, all Pontisso, Situm, and Petriccione limped off with injuries in the last league match.
