Our prediction for this Championship match:
Pride Park will host Friday’s football game between Derby County and Luton Town. The Rams continue to struggle in the Championship, with the team extending their winless run to seven games before the international break. Derby County failed to impress in a 1-0 loss at Stoke City, and we do not believe that they are capable of beating Luton on Matchday 39. All Jordon Ibe, Krystian Bielik and Curtis Davies remain sidelined with injuries, while Kazim-Richards is a major doubt.
The Hatters, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Coventry City (2-0) and Preston (1-0), and seeing that they have been impressive at the back of late, away win should be considered. Both Bradley and O’Kane have been struggling with injuries, and the duo is unlikely to feature against Wayne Rooney’s troops. In the first half of the season Luton defeated Derby 2-1.
Highlighted Player (Craig Forsyth):
Craig Forsyth is a left back who is capable of playing as a midfielder as well. The Derby County footballer was born on 24 February, 1989 and he started his youth career at Carlogie Boys Club. Forsyth spent five years in Dundee (2006-2011), but it has to be noted that he played for Montrose and Arbroath (on loan) during his spell at Dens Park.
The Scottish footballer joined Watford in June, 2011 for an undisclosed fee and he did well to score on his debut against Burnley in the opening match of the 2011/2012 Championship campaign. He played 20 games for the Hornets in the 2011/2012 season, but on 19 October, 2012, he was sent on loan to Bradford City.
After ending his loan spell with Bradford, Forsyth signed a loan deal with Derby County on 4 March, 2013 and nine months later he penned a permanent teal with the Rams. The left back made 46 league appearances for Derby County in the 2013/2014 campaign, scoring two goals in the process.
Highlighted Team (Luton ):
Founded back on April 11, 1885, Luton Town are an English club that compete in the Championship. The Hatters welcome their rivals at Kenilworth Road, the stadium which was opened in 1905. The capacity of the stadium is 10,356, with Luton Borough Council owning the venue.
Luton Town wear orange shirts with a little white and dark blue and dark blue shorts when playing at home, whilst their away colours are white and dark blue. Andy Rennie is the club’s all-time top scorer, netting 162 goals in all competitions for the Hatters. The likes of Joe Payne, Hugh Billington, Bernard Streten, Dyd Owen, Bob Morton, Ron Baynham, Gordon Turner and Mal Donaghy are one of the club’s most notable players as well.
Luton Town finished the 2018/2019 League One campaign in top position in the standings and, as a result, they will compete in the Championship in the 2019/2020 season.
