Our prediction for this Championship match:
Stoke City will be aiming to recover from back-to-back defeats to Norwich City and Middlesbrough when they face Watford on Saturday afternoon. The Potters have been struggling defensively of late and, as a result, the odds for away win are dropping. Fit-again forward Sam Gallagher should once again start from the bench, while the likes of Gibson, Gooch, Mmaee, Sidibe, and Wilson-Esbrand remain in the recovery room.
The Hornets, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Middlesbrough and Luton Town. Watford seem to be in a much better form than Stoke and given their routine triumph over the Potters at Vicarage Road, there is a big value in betting on Tom Cleverley’s troops. All Chakvetadze, Abankwah, and Keben are major doubts after the trio got injured in the triumph over Luton. Talented forward Mamadou Doumbia should keep his place up front as a lone centre-forward.
