Our prediction for this Copa del Rey match:
There will be fireworks when Leganes and Real Madrid take on each other in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals on Wednesday evening. Leganes aim to claim a major scalp in the Spanish Cup and we are positive that they will adopt a defence-minded approach against los Blancos. Guinea midfielder Seydouba Cisse will be assessed ahead of the kick-off, while defender Enric Franquesa continues to miss out with injury.
Carlo Ancelotti’s troops, on the other hand, aim to recover from a shocking 1-0 loss to Espanyol. As Ancelotti can count on key players for the Copa del Rey game, we are tempted to bet on the Spanish giants. Earlier this term, Real Madrid recorded a routine 3-0 win over Leganes in the suburbs of Madrid. All Eder Militao, Dani Carvajal, and Eduardo Camavinga are sidelined with injuries as well as Antonio Rudiger, who picked up a knock at the weekend.
Highlighted Player (Luka Modric):

Luka Modric is regarded as one of the best central midfielders in world football. The Croatian ace is a product of Dinamo Zagreb’s youth school and it has to be noted that he played 94 league games for the Modri between 2003 and 2008. In 2008 he signed a six-year deal with Tottenham Hotspur for a fee of £16.5 million.
Luka made his Tottenham debut on 16 August, 2008 in a 2-1 loss to Middlesbrough at Riverside Stadium. The Croatian star scored only 13 goals in 127 league appearances for the Spurs, but he is well known for his brilliant passing. In 2012 he signed for Real Madrid for a fee of £30 million and he made his debut against Barcelona in the 2012 Spanish Super Cup, return leg.
Modric quickly established himself as a first-team regular and, no doubt, he helped the capital club win two Champions League trophies (2013/2014, 2015/2016). You should bear in mind that he was named Croatian Footballer of the Year in 2007, 2008, 2011 and 2014.
Highlighted Team (Leganes):

Leganes are a Spanish football club that have mostly been playing in lower leagues. Los Pepineros play their home games at Batarque (Madrid) and the capacity of the stadium is just 8,138. Leganes secured their promotion to the Spanish La Liga for the first time ever in 2016 and, no doubt, that is considered the club’s biggest success.
Leganes’ bitterest rivals are fellow capital club Getafe and there have always been fireworks when the two teams take on each other in the South Madrid derby.
The colour of the team’s home kit is white and blue, whilst their away kits are green. The likes of Pierre Webo, Samuel Eto’o, Ivan Zarandona, Jose Chamot, Catanha, Ruben Falcon, Jordi Lardin and Pedro Lago are famous players who were part of the Batarque outfit in the past. Lady Maria Victoria Pavon is the first female president in the history of the club and she has been in charge of the club since 2009.
